General Curriculum

We know that children learn best when they’re actively engaged. We recognise that they are naturally curious. We believe that all children are talented, capable and special, whether they enjoy music or maths, whether they want to be a businessperson or a ballerina. We know they learn critical science, maths, reading and writing concepts through hands-on, sensory-oriented activities. Nurture’s Best’s curriculum gives children the guidance — and the freedom — to construct their own body of knowledge in ways most meaningful to them.

Through Nurture’s Best curriculum, children:

  • Have access to a huge variety of activities.
  • Discover their own special talents and best ways to learn.
  • Feel valued for who they are.
  • Have the guidance and the freedom to learn in meaningful ways.
  • Develop critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Develop Emotional Awareness.

We support this active exploration and investigation through creative play. Experts all agree children learn best when they’re engaged – they need to challenge themselves and have fun. At Nurture’s Best, they’ll do that, and more.

Your child’s week will be a varying mix of the following activities:

Poetry - Languages - Cookery
Music - Kids Shakespeare – Tending to Animals
Dance - Drama - Outdoor Play
Crafts - Puppetry - Tending to plants
Painting - Storytime - Reading/Library
Quiet Area - Football - Basketball
Musical Sessions - Recycling - World Culture Days
Head Massage - Harbour Walks - Home Corners
