‘A lovely way of getting involved’

We also run a Parents Skills Programme where parents donate their skills and some time to the Crèche e.g. some parents have come in and given Cookery classes, taught knitting, Irish dancing, guitar, French etc to a group of the children.  Or some just came and read a story. One parent even brought in a Hen and some baby chicks for a full day, at Easter time !  It was so nice to see the pride bursting in the faces of the children whose parents were in on any particular day.

It can be a once off skills donation or something that is done every so often or on a regular basis. Whatever suits the Parent

We are only thrilled to have them participate.
